Wallace resigns as AstralPool MD

After 10 years at the helm of AstralPool Australia, Peter Wallace has resigned as managing director of the company.

Wallace founded Hurlcon in 1990, which was then bought out by Fluidra in 2006 and rebranded as AstralPool. Since then, the company has grown nearly 450%, Wallace said.

Wallace’s position has been filled by Matt Adlam, who moves into the position from the general manager role. Adlam has been with the company in a variety of roles since 2000.

While he has resigned from the company’s day-to-day operations, Wallace will still be heavily involved in product development and R&D, as well as assisting in the company’s expansion in North America.
