Pool Systems has acquired Brisbane company Newline Pool Products. Newline’s founder and managing director, Nathan De Candia, will continue to lead the Newline business.

“This announcement is great news for our customers, employees and suppliers. We are undoubtedly stronger together than we are apart,” said Adrian Wischer, Pool Systems’ managing director.

“The acquisition increases both the scale and scope of the combined entity, which will result in benefits for all stakeholders.”

US company Poolcorp acquired a majority interest in Pool Systems in 2014. As part of this deal, Pool Systems also acquired Niagara Pool Supplies.

“Celebrating our 25th anniversary and joining Pool Systems provides us with new opportunities to expand products and services over time, bringing value to our customers, employees and suppliers,” said De Candia.

“I am very excited to join the Pool Systems team.”
