Life Floor has been awarded the Kelly Ogle Memorial Safety Award by the World Waterpark Association for its slip-resistant, impact-absorbing tiles.

The award is presented to an individual or organisation for significant contributions to guest and employee safety in the water attractions industry.

Minnesota’s Arrowwood Lodge, the first water park to install Life Floor, saw an immediate decrease in slip-and-fall accidents after installing the tiles. The product is now used in fitness centres, public parks, senior living facilities, cruise ships and a host of other venues.

“Everything we do is animated by a promise: we make people safer. In everything we do with our floors, from design and manufacturing to installation and support, people’s safety is our number one priority,” said Jonathan Keller, CEO of Life Floor.

“We’re deeply proud of the millions of people we’ve kept safer through our work.”

Life Floor is distributed in Australia and New Zealand by Sport + Venues (Australia).
