Prairiewood Water Park tenders open
Fairfield City Council has published a tender for the design, supply and construction of Prairiewood Water Park. The Council is seeking tenders from professional organisations that can “provide a scalable, multi-level modular, innovative and interactive water play park area that provides family-friendly entertainment resulting in return visits”.
The water park will include a water play family area containing:
- a ‘mums and bubs’ area
- a spray-pad area
- a water playground
- a water slide
It will also include a surf simulator area and a beach area containing shade umbrellas and sun lounges.
“The water park will have a number of exciting features to entertain children of all ages including multiple water apparatuses for the older kids, and a possible man-made beach area for the younger ones to enjoy. There will also be picnic facilities to enable families to use the water park as a venue for special occasions such as birthdays,” Fairfield Mayor Frank Carbone said.
A briefing session will be held on Tuesday 29 April at 10.30 am at the Prairiewood Leisure Centre. The session will cover response preparation and lodgement, as well as an overview of the proposed contract requirements. The Council is strongly encouraging anyone considering tendering to attend the briefing session. To confirm attendance, email Procurement Coordinator Annette Walker at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Tenders will be accepted up until 2.30 pm on Wednesday 21 May 2014. To view the tender, click here.
