Winner in Zodiac's Hello Summer competition

After a three-month promotional period and hundreds of entries, finalists in Zodiac’s Hello Summer competition gathered at Sydney's Star Casino in late February for a chance to nab $1 million.

Six contestants from Australia and New Zealand were flown to Sydney to take part in the final stage of the campaign. Jonathan Rainbow (NSW), Sharon Dunkinson (Vic and Tas), Chong Chew (SA), Richard Lewis (Qld), Natasha Thies (WA and NT) and Rob Clear (NZ) were joined by members of the Zodiac team for the final draw.

The ultimate stage of the promotion gave a randomly selected finalist the chance to take home the million-dollar grand prize. NZ's Rob Clear was asked to select an envelope from the 250 on offer — only one of which held $1 million, while the remaining envelopes contained $5000 each. Rob didn't manage to select the million, but was nevertheless happy to spend the weekend in Sydney and return home $5000 richer.

The Zodiac team thanks all those who registered for the promotion and extends a huge thank you to contestants for their enthusiasm and unwavering sportsmanship on the night.
