SPASA Australia has appointed a communication and events coordinator to plan and organise its events and improve communication to members and consumers. Based in Adelaide, Megan McElhinney commenced the role on 1 January.

Prior to undertaking full-time studies in event management, McElhinney was SPASA South Australia’s administration officer from 2013 to 2016, helping the organisation plan and deliver events.

“We are thrilled to welcome Megan McElhinney to the SPASA team. SPASA will make significant progress over the coming year with the addition of a dedicated communication and events coordinator, which will see the continued growth and support to our members and the industry,” said Lindsay McGrath, CEO of SPASA Australia.

“Megan’s previous experience with SPASA and the events industry, combined with a solid work ethic, is the perfect complement to SPASA’s strong team and operational expertise.”

“I am excited to be joining an association with the commitment of helping members reach and exceed their goals as the new communication and events coordinator. I look forward to working with the SPASA team to further improve existing member benefits and develop the SPASA brand,” said McElhinney.
