New partnership for Narellan

Narellan Pools has announced a partnership with North America’s largest pool company, Latham Pool Products (LPP). LPP will partner with the Narellan Group, which encompasses the company’s ANZ and Canadian franchise, manufacturing and export operations.

Narellan Managing Director Chris Meyer will continue at the helm and provide strategic leadership to unlock the fibreglass market in North America.

According to Narellan, Australia leads the world in fibreglass swimming pool technology and the company claims to be the country’s largest manufacturer and distributor. With fibreglass market penetration rates in Australia pegged at around 70% and growing, the 10–20% rate in North America is akin to the local market back in the 1980s.

The partnership will allow Narellan to maintain a strong manufacturing base in Australia, while adding resources to aid the company’s research and development efforts.
