SPASA Queensland members have voted unanimously to wind up the state body and transfer its surplus assets to SPASA Australia. The votes were cast at a Special General Meeting on 23 November.

At the 2014 AGM, SPASA Queensland members resolved to de-incorporate the Queensland chapter by 1 January 2017 and merge operations with SPASA Australia. The unanimous vote means that the formal process of closing the SPASA Queensland office and merging operations with SPASA Australia can continue as planned.

For more information, members can contact the Queensland Executive Officer Adrian Hart on 07 3252 6777 or via email at SPASA Australia will shortly send out a membership offer to all SPASA Queensland members.
