ACCC attending SPASA Convention

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) will be attending the upcoming SPASA Convention. SPASA members can visit the ACCC stand and attend the ACCC seminar to learn about how they promote competition and fair trade to benefit consumers, businesses and the community.

Learn and receive information at their stand about the following topics: price-fixing, boycotts, misuse of market power, exclusive dealing, misleading conduct and more.

The ACCC seminar will be held at the SPASA Convention from 4.30-5.00 pm and will discuss the Australian Consumer Law and the following topics:

  • The ACCC and the Competition and Consumer Act 2010
  • Dealing with suppliers and competitors
  • Dealing with customers
  • Product safety laws
  • Product and service liability
  • Question and answer feedback session will follow on the risks that you face as a reseller of goods to the consumer and what you need to know when selling or installing a product.
