SPASA Australia is considering establishing a Technical Committee to review two Australian Standards relating to fibreglass pools. SPASA is seeking expressions of interest in the Technical Committee, which would review certain aspects of:

AS1838:1989 — Swimming pools — Premoulded fibre reinforced plastics — Design and Fabrication

AS/NZS1839:1994 — Swimming pools — Premoulded fibre reinforced plastics — Installation

SPASA members who wish to be part of the Technical Committee need to have a thorough understanding of the Standards in question and have experience in the practical application of these Standards.

Members wishing to nominate for the Technical Committee must complete the SPASA Australia Industry Representation Policy, to which they would need to adhere while participating in the Technical Committee.

Completed registration forms should be submitted to SPASA Chief Operating Officer Spiros Dassakis on or before Friday, 28 April by email: spiros@spasa.com.au.
