Australia’s peak swimming pool and spa industry body has partnered with the country’s longest-running pool and spa trade publication, Pool+Spa, to deliver a powerful new information and marketing channel for the aquatics industry.

SPASA Australia has formed an alliance with Westwick-Farrow Media to publish a quarterly magazine to inform, educate and engage pool and spa professionals, as well as to build the profile of the Australian pool and spa industry.

The two organisations have a long-running history, with Pool+Spa being the original publication of CASPA (the Council of Australasian Pool Associations), which later became the Swimming Pool and Spa Association of Australia. This decades-old partnership has come full circle with the signing of this new agreement.

Under the agreement, Pool+Spa will continue its longstanding tradition of delivering engaging content to the Australian pool, spa and associated outdoor sectors, but will now harness SPASA Australia’s extensive influence and experience to further benefit the broader industry as well as the pool and spa owners of Australia.

“This is an exciting alliance that will benefit all stakeholders — manufacturers, retailers, builders, designers, landscapers and pool and spa owners. We look forward to working with SPASA Australia to grow the industry with this project,” remarked Geoff Hird, publisher of Pool+Spa.

“This partnership will improve our member benefits, recognise the professionalism of this skilled industry and provide another platform to promote ownership and enjoyment of pools and spas,” said Lindsay McGrath, CEO of SPASA Australia. “SPASA’s strategic direction has made this opportunity possible to improve our communication model to have a stronger voice reaching out to industry, government and consumers.”
